About

tē alyah is a soulful R&B singer-songwriter representing the heart of the 757, VA. Music has been her constant — a gift she first discovered in her church’s youth choir, where she learned how powerful a voice can truly be. Influenced by iconic artists like Brandy, Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé, she grew up studying voices filled with passion, intention, and undeniable presence.

Though she always recognized her love for music, it wasn’t until 2022 that she finally bet on herself, stepping into the spotlight with her debut single, “Slow.” Her first album, Tē Time, arrived in December 2023 — fully self-written and serving as a personal introduction to the world. Surrounding the album’s core — LYF (“Love You First”), a three-part spoken word experience — are songs that explore self-worth, complicated relationships (romantic and platonic), fun, and self-empowerment. These stories capture her evolution from teenage years to young adulthood, celebrating growth, heartbreak, joy, and the courage it takes to choose yourself.

In addition to her pen and vocal artistry, tē alyah brings her background as a dancer to every performance, delivering a captivating and dynamic stage presence. With smooth vocals, intentional movement, and emotion-rich storytelling, she creates a full experience — music you feel and a show you remember.

As she continues to perform and release new work, tē alyah invites listeners and future collaborators to join her — because this is only the beginning of the legacy she’s building.
